I tried to represent a soul. Like Bella trying to hold her soul...if she becomes a vampire maybe she'll lose it, we don't know.

I like the ambiguity of the red mass. It's hard to tell if it's blood or smoke. From a distance, you see blood, but when you get closer, it looks like smoke.
